Hey, guys, today's blog will be a bit different from the topics I usually write about, but I hope that you will enjoy reading it. I have come up with the top 7 people or pages to follow on Instagram. These people/pages I have personally been entertained by and, in one way or the other, has made my day or at least made me smile or laugh a little during the lockdown and these strange and unpredictable times we are living in. I believe everyone needs a bit of sunshine đđ during these difficult times, and although social media does have some cons, it can also be a great platform to find some dope people who want to spread some positivity.

Alright, đđlet us get into this list.
First up on this list:
1) Alexis Feather A.K.A @yungbbq
"What da freak?" - @yungbbq
Alexis Feather from the USA, better known by her followers as @yungbbq
is known for her viral dance videos to both old school and new school songs, her videos give me childhood nostalgia as well as just putting a smile on my face, one of my favourite dance videos from her is one she did to Missy Elliot 'I can't stand the rain, Supa Dupa fly' song, from recreating the famous garbage suit outfit Missy Elliot wore in the 'I can't stand the rain, Supa Dupa fly' music video to giving us early 2000's R&B music vibes with her dancing in the rain (guys don't tell me you don't remember those type of R&B music videos when the guy is dancing in the rainđ), this particular video even got recognised and shared on Missy Elliot's Instagram page (@missymisdemeanorelliott). I also enjoyed her recreation of Tina Tuner's iconic music video for ' What's love got to do with it', from filming at the same location where Tina Turner had her music video to recreating Tina Turner's iconic outfit and hairstyle (I will share the video here for you guys to enjoy later). Yet, she made it her own with her own dance moves.

@yungbbq dance videos and overall positive personality make her appeal to a wide range of audiences. Whether you want to dance along to her dance videos or try to challenge her to a dance battle on her Instagram live, she is definitely one to put a smile on your face and make you laugh, so give her a follow and thank me later :) @yungbbq.
2) Elsa Majimbo, @Majimb.O
"Being rich is not a choice it's a calling"đ - @Majimb.O
The Kenyan Instagram comedian whose short funny videos were filmed on her iPhone in the comfort of her bedroom during lockdown went viral throughout social media. Elsa has been featured on CNN ('This chip-eating Kenyan comic is keeping Africans entertained on social media'), 'The New York Times', interviewed by American Television journalist 'Anderson Copper' ('Anderson Cooper talks with comic Elsa Majimbo about life during quarantine') and even has a show on Comedy Central. Recently, Elsa announced on her Instagram that she has been nominated by E! People's choice award in the category of African Social star along with some other nominees (you can vote for her under the category ' African Social star' on the People's Choice Awards website and check out the other categories and candidates).
Majimbo's videos have definitely kept me entertained during the lockdown. So if you want something that you can relate to in some way, will make you laugh, and you can share on your favourite group chat, then she is definitely one to follow on Instagram @majimb.o. She also has a YouTube channel called 'Majimbo Daily'.
